We are currently seeking a new Procurement Manager to assist our company in all company purchasing which would include material, equipment and tools.
DESCRIPTION and
Responsibilities:
Handle all purchasing company wide.
Work closely with our Project Managers and Estimators to quote, order, and fulfill material, equipment, and tool requests for jobs.
Handle all purchasing requests that come directly from our tradesmen.
Utilize vendors and compare pricing across all suppliers to locate material for the best available prices, material availability, while also taking into consideration job timing.
Strengthen relationships with current vendors and suppliers Seek and build new relationships with vendors and suppliers nationwide to better set up Byers purchasing power Work closely with Shop Manager to mobilize and demobilize all jobs.

Byers was founded in 1972 by Frank Byers as Byers Electrical Construction.
Over the next five years, the company grew to 10 employees and was breaking through from residential wiring to medium-sized commercial projects serving local malls and businesses.
